Owner Chris Latham, with the help of friends and family members spent the majority of 2012 restoring this beauty from the ground up. Most passengers struggle to believe that this is Mercedes Benz 300SD is well over 30 years old being of 1981 vintage! It has a 3 liter in-line 5 cylinder diesel engine known by many as the pinnacle of passenger automobile reliability, with many of these engines still in operation with over half a million miles on them. This chassis is referred to by Mercedes Collectors as the W126, and was the flagship of their line for over a decade.
